What would you do if you were breeding terrier dogs and you found out that there was a disease that was
spread by sex that caused the dogs genitals to have a certain smell that was detectable by bloodhounds
but not by terriers? The disease causes the female dogs to die one month after contracting the disease.
1. Mix the terrier breed with the bloodhound breed and then breed terriers for all of their original
characteristics except for the lack of detecting the STD.
2. Splice the specific portion of the DNA in the bloodhound into the DNAs of each of the terrier
sub-species and let the new gene propagate into the different sub-species.
3. Let the bitches die.
4. Establish a charity which funds testing and medication of the infected dogs.
