Merge Photos of the Earth

I read the article in the magazine and once again my mind was changed in how I view the world around
me. Photos are on silver halide film => photos are digital => digital photos are uploaded computers =>
digital photos are uploaded to the net => digital photos are merged with the kind of software that
reconstructs body images from CAT scans => merge this with Google Maps and you have a view of the
world from many perspectives including satellite, airplane and ground photos. Incredible.
This is another example of something that computers can do that the human mind cannot do.
