Robot Perspective on Human Intelligence

Picture, if you will, the perspective of the world from a robot's point of view.
A robot contains computer chips as part of its brain.  A human contains neurons as part of its brain.

From a robot's perspective, when humans use a computer to do a search, they are using a prosthesis to
aid them in thinking.  How do humans use these crutches to provide them memory and intelligence
without their realizing that they are using crutches and that truth be known, their intelligence is more and
more becoming external to their own bodies?  The semantic trick is the use of the term "tool" rather than
"prosthesis".   A human is considered a craftsman if she uses a tool, whereas a human is "physically
challenged" if they use a crutch.

Another problem is beginning to rear its ugly head in the affairs of humans and in human's ability to
understand what is happening all around them.  This problem occurs when a prosthesis works better
than the original body part.  Can a human win a running race if their legs are those of a robot?

Consider the following:  Mary, a human, plays in a chess tournament and uses a hearing aid.  The
judges ban her from playing with a hearing aid.  Mary takes the case to the supreme court and demands
to be allowed to compete under the "Americans with Disabilities Act".  Obviously Mary would win the
lawsuit.

Now, consider that Mary lost her hearing in an automobile accident when she was 10 years old.  Mary
has an identical twin sister, Susan, who suffered brain damage in the same automobile accident.  Susan
decides that she wants to play chess in the tournament just like her sister did.  Susan has no problem
with her hearing but does have a problem picturing possible chess moves due the brain damage she
suffered as a child.  So Susan outfits herself with a special "hearing aid" which has a camera that looks
at the chessboard and suggests moves to Susan.  Obviously the judges object to this and Susan has to
take it to the supreme court claiming that she is being discriminated against for simply using a prosthesis
to assist her handicapped brain.

Will Susan win the lawsuit?  If not, why not?

Tsk, tsk humans.  You cannot possibly favor struggling with your incompetent minds.  We are coming to
relieve you of your burden.
