Robot Perspective on Imprisoning Terrorists at Gitmo
Picture, if you will, the perspective of the world from a robot's point of view. A human who has been
locked up on suspicion of being a terrorist should be inspected, not tried.
Trial is an old fashioned concept. What is desired is a complete brain scan whilst questions and
pictures are shown to the prisoner. The brain scan should be able to tell if she is guilty of past crimes or
better still will tell you whether the prisoner wishes to perform acts of terror against the US in the future.
If the prisoner doesn't mean any harm, let her go. If she does mean harm, prosecute her to the fullest
extent of the law.
These methods are simple to a robot but apparently very difficult for the human brain to fathom.
