Simulating a Mouse Brain with a Supercomputer
Dharmendra S. Modha is head of the project at IBM Almaden Research Center and is attempting to
simulate a mouse brain on a Blue Gene computer. As of the middle of 2007, he was able to simulate
one half of a theoretical mouse brain at one-tenth speed. He still needs to write the software to simulate
the actual mouse brain.
