My questions of other people
The Roomba in 2007 is a vacuum cleaner robot manufactured by iRobot Inc.
The latest versions of this robot come with connectors which can be used to update the
software inside the robot.
Additional equipment may be purchased which allows the owner of the Roomba to use Wi-Fi to
connect her PC to the software in the Roomba, thus allowing her to reprogram the Roomba at
will.
This feature was planned by Friendly Robotics in about 2000 but it was never implemented.
In how many years will one be able to find a computer module imbedded in a human which
can be software upgraded from a device external to the human?
Answer: already available in pacemakers for many years.
When will the first device implanted into a human brain be capable of modifying its software by
downloading it from a device external to the human?
