Why are you letting humans lose their ability to detect emotions?

The most complex thing that people can do with the human ear is to detect emotions in
another person’s voice.  I determined this by simulating the human hearing system and
noticing that the most difficult thing to duplicate was the sensing of emotions in another
person’s voice.  Why is it that the vast majority of people graduate from public high school
without even knowing that?

Not only do they not know that but they are not trained to have the ability to sense other
people’s emotions with cues from body language, facial expressions and tone of voice.

In older societies where survival was more dependent on reading another human's emotions,
don't you think that this ability was more developed?  Haven't you lost this ability in part
because of your human educational system?  Why don't you fix it?
