Anthropologists and Gameskeepers
It occurs to me that since elephants can hear down to one cycle per second (Hz) and bats can hear
up to perhaps 200,000 Hz (200 kHz) one may wish to know why an android could not do a better
job of being an anthropologist or gamekeeper if he was outfitted with microphones which could
detect sounds utilized by both elephants and bats. Since many of these jobs still require that the
applicant be human, should not the job go to a human who has been outfitted with electronic
hearing aids that allow the perception of sounds between 1 Hz and 200 kHz?

If the dogs leave when they notice that the elephants are stampeding, are they avoiding the
tsunami or earthquake and being smarter than the average human?
Shouldn't the woman who turns on the emergency siren be able to sense from 1 Hz to 200,000 Hz?
If you lived near LA or Istanbul, perhaps you would be more likely to agree.
