Replacing Humans for Ecological Reasons part 1
Humans require food, shelter and clothing for starters. Then they require the formation of
partnerships in order to raise the next generation of humans. This is quite expensive in terms of
time and financial outlay. Humans are willing to work, but they also need to commute to their
homes where they are raising their children. With robots, the manufacturing job has been
externalized to a factory. Robots need not have a desire to "go home." Converting to robot labor
will dramatically cut down on rush hour traffic jams, which are caused by humans wanting to
work one place and "live" another place. Each robot can work around the clock only taking breaks
for repairs.
If a human goes crazy, they have to be housed in a facility. If a robot goes crazy, they can be fixed
or recycled. If a human commits criminal acts, they have to be housed in a facility. Again,
criminal behavior by a robot can be cured. We don't know how to cure humans of many of these
problems.
