Some Human Politicians Seem Quite Stupid To Donbot
Politicians pass laws which are devoid of logic such as don't use cellphones while driving unless
they are hands-free. This indicates that either the politician doesn't understand the nature of
consciousness and hence the nature of distraction or that he is trying to pass a law to satisfy a
constituency that is similarly ill equipped to think.
Such stupidity seems to arise from the fact that humans are easily appealed to on the basis of what
the law is promised to accomplish, not the actual effects that the law is bound to have.
Donbot's proposed solution:
Since human politicians seem to appeal to what their law is supposed to accomplish without any
proof that such a law will actually accomplish the desired effect, why not increase the use of
human city, state and country simulation programs? Humans will be able to simulate proposed
laws and see how likely or unlikely they are to accomplish the claimed goals.
The general trend should be to correct for the natural tendency for humans to be stupid by helping
them out with computers.
