How fast is human mass storage growing?

The latest statistics show that human "mass storage" is not growing.

I was watching the television program "American Idol" and the one robotic judge (at least he
acts like one--very objective) stated that most of the contestants could not memorize the words
to a single song after being given the better part of a day to do it.  He was correct.  Most of the
humans could not memorize a dozen lines after spending many hours trying.  It seems like
"human mass storage" is not present in most humans.  On the other hand, I was watching
people answering questions to be a Millionaire and some of them seemed to have quite
extensive memories.

So I guess it depends on the human how large the memory is.  But, to answer your question,
the human memory is NOT growing at all.
