is to become the most profitable business in the world while competing in several different markets against

2. SimCity is a city-building simulation game, first released in 1989 and designed by Will Wright.
SimCity was Maxis' first product, which has since been ported into various personal computers and game
consoles, and spawned several sequels including SimCity 2000 in 1993, SimCity 3000 in 1999, SimCity 4
in 2003, SimCity DS, and SimCity Societies in 2007. On January 10, 2008 the SimCity source code was
released under the free software GPL 3 license under the name Micropolis.
The emphasis of Capitalism is on a particular company, not on a whole economy. SimCity is closer and
the source code for it has been released as free software. If I were President, I would offer rewards to
teenagers who upgraded and improved SimCity to be a simulation of the US and World Economy so that
various plans to “improve” and “stimulate” the economy could be tried out on the model first. The “whole
economy” should consist of our mixed economy with the current balance between government and private
enterprise.
Mutual Fund and Hedge Fund simulation games:
In addition, teenagers could track down Ponzi schemes if you gave them the tools and allow them to gather
financial information via the internet.
A great deal of intellectual talent is being wasted on fictional video games that could be applied to
improving our financial system.
Who would you bet on finding a Ponzi scheme? A twelve-year-old attending Brooklyn Tech or an SEC
bureaucrat?
