Janus and his wife decided to have a baby. In Janus's mind, the his decision was to have a
child, but he knew that having a child meant having a baby first. On the other hand, his
neighbors failed to have any children and ended up adopting a 12 year-old child.
Janus's wife also worked and so it was necessary to either use a day-care facility or to hire a
baby-sitter. Janus's first thought was to hire a babysitter and get a nannycam so he could
check up on how their little munchkins was doing. On second thought, he decided to use one
of his android robots to babysit their child. After all, if you don't trust your babysitter enough
to leave her alone with your child and you need to supervise the operation, why not simply use
a robot which you yourself designed and therefore trusted?
