U3 software on SanDisk executes software to back up files.
the availability of the Opensource Suite which excited me because I use Staroffice on my home machine
and I thought I t would be really neat to have essentially the same program on the Cruzer with all the
advantages of that -- when traveling.
Hence I D/l'ed and installed it. Every thing appeared to go smoothly.
However, when I attempt to launch the program all I get is a BRIEF screen indicating "Opensource.org",
etc.
The Computer does not crash -- it is just that nothing happens other than the brief appearance of the
screen.
I tried to d/l and install once again from "u3 Download Central". It "failed"
3) I d/l'ed and installed using the "Cruzer Program Wizard" instead of "u3 Download Central"
IT WORKS! the prior problem did not happen and the program "loads" and appears to have all the
functions I expected. I have not performed any work with it, but playing around -- The appearance is a
bit different but that may be and probably is just a matter of setting up the various toolbars etc.
