Hour 1: Bob previewed some of the economic and earnings data due out this week. Bob took calls on taking
distributions from retirement funds, international exposure of the total stock market index, protecting
against runaway government spending, bond funds vs. individual bonds, total bond index vs. GNMAs,
inflation and I-Bonds.
Hour 2: Bob talked about the CIT bankruptcy. Bob took calls on economic forecasts, U.S. fiscal situation, I-
Bonds and FDIC.
Hour 3: Bob talked about the
prospects for future inflation. Bob took calls on bonds, U.S. fiscal policy, I-
bonds and municipal bond funds.

Hour 1: Lynn Jimenez filled in for Bob and talked about the economic news over the past few months and
what we can expect over the near future. Lynn took calls on tax holidays, stock market performance, too big
to fail and unemployment insurance.
Hour 2: Lynn interviewed venture capitalist David Blumberg of Blumberg Capital. Lynn took calls on
student loans, splitting up big banks, a home equity loan, venture capital, inflation, gold and California
municipal bonds.
Hour 3: Lynn interviewed Scott Hauge of CAL Insurance & Associates about the needs and concerns of the
small business community.

Hour 1: Lynn Jimenez filled in for Bob and talked about recent Wall Street and executive pay scandals.
Lynn took calls on trusting financial professionals, credit card interest, annuities, and custodial IRAs.
Hour 2: Lynn interviewed David Coleman author of 42 Rules for Saving Your House from Foreclosure: A
Practical Guide to Avoiding Foreclosure, Navigating the Loan Modification Process and Keeping Your Home.
Lynn took calls on an employee of Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the offer he received from Warren
Buffet, reverse mortgages, a possible bank scam and getting out of a house that is underwater.
Hour 3: Lynn interviewed of Josh Charlson of Morningstar about lifecycle mutual funds.

Hour 1: Bob reviewed the performance of the market indexes. Bob took calls on Treasuries, using a 403b to
pay off an interest only loan, fixed income ETFs and a Charitable Remainder Trust.
Hour 2: Bob talked about the history of the Glass-Steagall Act, how it’s repeal lead to today’s crisis and the
need for a modern day version. Bob took calls on I-Bonds, paying down a mortgage, GNMAs and debt
consolidation.
Hour 3: Bob interviewed Jim Lebenthal, author of
Lebenthal On Munis: Straight Talk About Tax-Free
Municipal Bonds for the Troubled Investor Deciding Yes...or No!

Hour 1: Bob talked about the national debt. Bob took calls on the national debt, municipal bonds, dealing
with a property that is underwater and the FDIC.
Hour 2: Bob previewed the economic data and earnings announcements due out this week. Bob took calls
on the real estate problems in the country, the Medicare prescription drug program, Senator Dodd’s
financial regulation bill, China and credit scores.
Hour 3: Bob interviewed Leander Kahney, author of
Inside Steve's Brain, Expanded Edition.
