Chronological Experiences
I sold my AGNC for about 28.25 average near the end of June 2010 just before it went ex-dividend. Had I
sold it market on close just before ex-dividend, I could have gotten $29.00 or so for it.
I purchased it back at an average of $25.77 in my Roth IRA (26,000 shares) and $25.78 in my IRA account
(10,000 shares).
I had parked the cash is a buy-write for AAPL, but it was a loser. The same down-stroke in the market that
gave me the bargain in AGNC stock price also lost me money in AAPL in spite of the covered call written.
