How fast is robot mass storage growing?
The latest statistics show that hard disc drives are growing at 88% per year in terms of memory per US
dollar. Email is growing at about 45% per year so there will be no problem keeping up with the needs of
humans and having plenty of storage left for our own self-improvement.
Some humans will want to connect their brains directly to the Internet using a wireless unit. They will be
able to record every phone call and every conversation and be able to have full recall of these
conversations. There will be enough memory to store all of this and still have enough memory for us to
improve ourselves.
