I am trying understand the evolution of evolution and need some help.  The following list is somewhat
sequential in time and may be criticized and improved on many levels.  The key point of this list should not
be ignored…our future contains radical changes in almost everything.  Please give me your opinions at

14.        Evolution of animals that can create tools by forming found matter.  Making of arrowheads, cleaving
rocks to make sharp edges that can be used for cutting, etc.
15.        Evolution of societies of insects.
16.        Evolution of societies of primates.
17.        Modification of crops by artificial selection and controlled pollination.
18.        Breeding of animals.  Directed evolution.
19.        Allocation of job functions within a society.
20.        Organized manufacturing of tools, mechanisms for transportation.
21.        Use of transportation to communicate and then development of more efficient mechanisms for
communication
22.        Evolution of primitive logic functions (three way switch.)
23.        Evolution of complex logic functions—computers.
24.        Early surgery—Cesarian birth.
25.        Early brain surgery, dentistry. (Dentists may have drilled teeth to remove decay more than 8000
years ago in prehistoric Pakistan, according to an international team of researchers.)
26.        Evolution of telescope, eyeglasses, microscope.  (Expansion of human visual scale.)
27.        Use of sextant to navigate the oceans.
28.        Early prostheses, canes, peg legs, hook hands.
29.        Evolution of ability to generate and sense radio frequencies.
30.        Human heart pacemaker implant.
31.        Pig valve implanted into human heart.
32.        Mammals created with human immune system.
33.        Stem cells found in the root cavities of teeth allowing the use of pigs to grow replacement human
teeth.
34.        Cochlea implants.  The use of computers and direct connection of electronics to human nervous
system.
35.        The use of computers to simulate processes ranging from molecular interaction to the collision of
galaxies.
36.        The evolution of rockets until capable of launching earth satellites.
37.        Evolution of earth satellites to have the capabilities of global positioning system, broadcast of radio
and television signals, etc.
38.        The invention of the Atomic Force Microscope allowing the manipulation of atoms.
39.        Use of robots for dangerous jobs such as paint spraying and welding.
40.        Invention of the Internet and World Wide Web providing rapid access to volumes of information.
41.        Selection of fertilized eggs of humans in order to avoid genetic disease.
42.        Use of MRI imaging to detect human intensions.  Used to screen for terrorists.
43.        Use of MRI imaging to detect human’s internal history which is then used to convict or exonerate
persons arrested for crimes.
44.        Connection of cell phone to human brain.
45.        Use of robots for low-level jobs such as flipping hamburgers at McDonald’s.
46.        Parental ability to select fertilized eggs of their offspring leading to improved intelligence.  This
foretells the eventual elimination of the birth of all minimum wage human workers (nobody will be born with
a low IQ) and replacement of minimum wage job functions with robots.
47.        Connection of GPS system to human brain.
48.        Genetic engineering of human to regain the formerly vestigial ability to sense earth’s magnetic field.
49.        MRI procedure accepted as valid means of determining guilt or innocence in a court of law.  This
leads to total redefinition of judicial system in the following 25 years.
50.        Development of artificial organs to replace all major human organs.
51.        First human with the ability to survive off of electricity without any need for organic food or air.
Ingestion of vitamins and minerals might be needed but such a human can exist on a space lab without
needing a garden or expensive transportation of food.
52.        Radio Frequency Identification Chips (RFID) used to identify products to the point that cashiers are
no longer needed at checkout counters.
53.        RFID chips embedded in humans are accepted as a valid alternative to passport.  In other words,
even the passport is evolving.
54.        Biotechnology evolves to the point that cancer is brought 99% under control.
55.        Robots are 99% immune to attacks by hackers creating software viruses.
56.        The first directed evolution of a human who does not age.
57.        Non-aging electric-powered human sent to investigate if there is life on planets in nearby solar
systems.
58.        Airport installation of first MRI machine capable of rapidly scanning humans and determining if
they are capable of suicide bombings or other antisocial activities. The term “antisocial” is defined by the
owners of the MRI scanning equipment, naturally.
59.        Federal law passed prohibiting human drivers from using Interstate highways.  Only computer
driven vehicles are allowed.  These laws are expected to evolve to this point by the year 2025.
60.        Updates to human surgeon’s knowledge of surgical procedures accomplished while on tax-
deductible junket trips to Hawaii.  A lot of golf is played.
61.        Important political leaders and rich individuals have their brains scanned so that if they have a
stroke, their memories can be recovered by programming the memories into the replacement brain parts.
62.        First human patient recovers from massive stroke by having more than half of his brain replaced with
silicon-based electronics.
63.        First human patient recovers from massive stroke by having more than half of his brain replaced with
a brain grown in a pig.  Memories are reprogrammed from the MRI scan previously done.
64.        Human doctor passes exams after having brain programmed using brain pattern duplicating
techniques used in previous point.  Educating a doctor is effectively reduced from 12 years to less than one
week.
65.        Human doctor passes exams after having brain implanted with silicon computers.  Educating a
doctor is effectively reduced from 12 years to less than one month.
